Smarter Investment, Real Results
Infrastructure is one of the biggest responsibilities of City Hall and right now, it’s where residents and businesses see waste and poor coordination the most. Roads are repaired one year and torn up the next for utilities. Transit doesn’t keep up with new neighbourhoods. Projects go over budget and over time because departments aren’t working in sync.
I will demand accountability, better oversight, and the use of technology to ensure projects are planned city-wide, coordinated across departments, and built to last. Residents and businesses deserve infrastructure that supports growth instead of slowing it down.
My Commitments on Infrastructure
- City-wide planning with technology: Use digital tools to better coordinate projects across City departments, reducing costly duplication and disruptions for residents and businesses.
- Build it right the first time: Invest in durable roads, sidewalks, and facilities so taxpayers aren’t paying for the same repairs year after year.
- Transit that keeps up with growth: Advocate for reliable bus routes and service expansions so new communities aren’t left behind.
- Accountability for every dollar: Demand tighter oversight so major projects respect budgets and timelines, delivering real value to Edmontonians.
“Every tax dollar should stretch further. I’ll demand accountability in how we build and maintain our roads, transit, and public spaces because residents shouldn’t carry the cost of short-term thinking.”
